I just want summer. This coming summer was supposed to be one of the best summers, for it was extended due to the new Missouri law that we cannot start before the 21 (or 22 I forgot). Now all of this Corona b.s that occurred might hinder all the plans that many of us had. I know it may be insensitive to say, and I truly feel for those who were affected and are either sick or know of people who are dying. What I am trying to say is I wish this virus never even entered the US or even broke away from China. I hope by the time this slows down that we will be able to travel through airports and be able to actually go back into public. I think it’ll be odd going into stores and restaurants without having to distance yourself from others and wear a mask around your face. But this stunted time has shown lots of us to go out and have fun and to not take things for granted. Also to always wash our hands, for stuff like this could come back up and we want to be able to control it completely.

Born in the pit of the United States in St. Louis, Mo, Selma Hotich is the daughter of refugee parents, and another one of those people who’s strongly convinced they were born in the wrong decade. She’s deeply committed to a relationship surrounding Hot Fries and late-night binges of Rick and Morty to fill the emptiness within her love life. If not strumming her guitar or annoyingly singing the same verse to a song over again, you’ll probably find her driving around West County alongside her twin sister, while blasting Sublime Essential’s on Apple music.
